4. JURISDICTION
Held under the National Competition Rules of AAM, incorporating the International Sporting Code of the FIM and these Supplementary Regulations and any Additional Supplementary Regulations issued by the Organiser whether written or oral shall have the same force as these Regulations subject to the provisions of AAM NCRs.

6. DESCRIPTION OF EVEN

Junior B
Minimum age of 8 years and not exceeding 12 years old on birthday.
(a) Competitors in possession of a valid National “C” Motocross (Cadet) competition licence issued by the Automobile Association of Malaysia (AAM) and the Automobile Association of Malaysia / Motorsports Association of Malaysia (AAM/MAM).

Junior A
Age between 12 years to 16 years on birthday
(a) Competitors in possession of a valid National “C” Motocross (Junior) competition licence issued by the Automobile Association of Malaysia (AAM) and the Automobile Association of Malaysiai / Motorsports Association of Malaysia (AAM/MAM).

Cubcross – Open
Competitors in possession of a valid National “C” / National ‘B” / National “A” Motocross competition licence issued by the Automobile Association of Malaysia (AAM) and the Motorsports Association of Malaysia (MAM)

Trail Bike – Open
(a) Competitors in possession of a valid National “C” / National ‘B” / National “A” Motocross competition licence issued by the Automobile Association of Malaysia (AAM) and the Motorsports Association of Malaysia (MAM).

(b) Competitors in possession of a valid FIM International competition licence issued by the FIM National Motorcycle Federation (FMN) accompanied by a letter or visa of approval for the same to participate in the event.

Veterans – Age of 35 years old and above on birthday.
(a) Competitors in possession of a valid National “C” / National ‘B” / National “A” Motocross competition licence issued by the Automobile Association of Malaysia (AAM) and the Motorsports Association of Malaysia (MAM).

Expert Motocross – Open
(a) Competitors in possession of a valid National “C” / National ‘B” / National “A” Motocross competition licence issued by the Automobile Association of Malaysia (AAM) and the Motorsports Association of Malaysia (MAM).

(b) Competitors in possession of a valid FIM International competition licence issued by the FIM National Motorcycle Federation (FMN) accompanied by a letter or visa of approval for the same to participate in the event.

Novice Motocross – National “C” (Novice) only
(a) Competitors in possession of a valid National “C” Motocross competition licence issued by the Automobile Association of Malaysia (AAM) and the Automobile Association of Malaysia / Motorsports Association of Malaysia (AAM/MAM).

8. TRACK
8.1 Details of track and races as prescribed in ASR of each round.


9. ELIGIBLE COMPETITORS

(a) Competitors in possession of a valid National “C” / National ‘B” / National “A” Motocross competition licence issued by the Automobile Association of Malaysia (AAM).

(b) Competitors in possession of a valid National “C” / National ‘B” / National “A” Motocross competition licence issued by the Automobile Association of Malaysia / Motorsports Association of Malaysia (AAM/MAM).

(c) Competitors in possession of a valid FIM International competition licence issued by the FIM National Motorcycle Federation (FMN) accompanied by a letter or visa of approval for the same to participate in the event.

10. ELIGIBLE VEHICLES

10.1 Junior B – Motorcycle Up to 85 cc (2 stroke) or 150 cc (4 Stroke)

10.2 Junior A – Motorcycle Up to 85 cc (2 Stroke) or 150cc (4 stroke)

10.3 Cub Cross – Open

10.4 Trail Bike – Any Trail Bike of any cubic capacity (Strictly No MX Bike)

10.5 Veteran – Trail or Off Road Bike of any cubic capacity

10.6 Motocross Expert – Open Bike of any cubic capacity

10.7 Motocross National “C”: (Novice) – Off Road Bike Up To 250cc (4 Stroke)/150cc (2stroke)

11. ENTRIES
Entries open and close in accordance to ASR issued for each event. Entry fee for expert category is RM150.00 and RM 50.00 for other categories .ENTRIES CLOSE AT 09.00AM ON Sunday. ENTRIES UP TO 10.00AM WILL BE ACCEPTED AT DOUBLE ENTRY FEE. LATECOMERS MUST BE BRIEFED BY CLERK OF THE COURSE.

The organisers reserve the right to reject an entry without giving reason for doing so.

12. SCRUTINEERING
Dates and times, as prescribed in ASR of each round.
Change of machine is allowed provided that it is presented for scrutineering.

13. PRACTICE

13.1 A minimum of 15 minutes of free practice will be given for each category.

14. METHOD OF START

14.1 Riders will be released with the use of a starting gate
14.2 Position on the starting gate for Moto 1 will be based by balloting.
14.3 Position on the starting gate for moto 2 and 3 onwards will be based on the finishing position of the previous moto.

15. FINISHER

To qualify as a finisher a rider must take the chequered flag within 2 minutes of the winner taking the chequered flag and covered 75% of laps done by the winner.

19 In the event of a tie at the end of the championship, the higher placing will be given to the one with
more wins followed by 2nd places and 3rd places and so forth. If a tie still exists the organizer will exercise their right to break the tie.

The organizers reserve the right to cancel or postpone and event due to force majeure.

For any category which the entries less than 5 participants that category will cancel.

20. OUTSIDE ASSISTANCE

Any outside assistance on the course is forbidden unless it is carried out by a marshal in the interest of safety.

The penalty for violation is exclusion.

22 PROTEST

22.1 Protest must be made in accordance with Article G 5 of the AAM NCRs
22.2 Protest fee is RM 250.00 and an additional RM 250.00 if the machine
requires stripping.

23. APPEAL

Appeals must be made in accordance with article G 6 of the NCRs.
Appeal fee is RM2,500.00


24 INSURANCE

All competitors will only be covered for Public Liability risks only by insurance arranged by the Organiser.






25 Flag Signals

The following signals will be used.

Green Flag Start of race or practice/ Track clear

Blue Flag (Only shown to drivers who are being lapped and are a minimum of one lap behind)

Yellow Flag Danger, slow down, it is forbidden to overtake.
If waved – extreme danger, be prepared to stop.

Red Flag All drivers will immediately stop racing and continue towards
the Start Line, being prepared to stop at any points as
requested by an Official.

Black Flag with Stop for a technical defect. The driver may continue after
Orange Disc and Number repairs required to bike.

Black Flag with Number Reports to Clerk of the Course immediately

TECHNICAL REGULATIONS

A. GENERAL

Any motocross, off-road competition bike or trail bike with capacity not exceeding 500 cc (2 Stroke) / 650 cc (4 Stroke) are eligible for the event.

For Cub Cross, any underbone bike are eligible for the event. Frame and engine must be from
the same model. Modifications to engine and frame are free.

B. SPECIFIC MODIFICATIONS (EXCEPT CUB CROSS)

1. ENGINE

1.1 Standard OEM pistons must be used. Pistons that are available as oversize repairs parts in
the manufacturer’s part catalogue may be used. The original numbers of rings must be retained.

1.2 Pistons may be modified and lightened provided their originality can be traced.

1.3 The cylinder barrel may be machined and modified internally. The number and type of cylinder
base

1.4 Gaskets is free.

1.5 The cylinder head may be internally machine and modified. The type of head gasket is free.

1.6 Compression ratio is free.

1.7 The spark plug and wire are free.

1.8 The CDI unit may be modified or changed.

1.9 The crankshaft and connection rod may be polished and modified provided the original stroke is unaltered.

2. CARBURETION
2.1 The original carburetor may be internally modified. The throttle slide spring and needle and jets are free.

2.2 The carburetor spacer may be internally modified.

2.3 The throttle twist grip must have self-closing action.

2.4 Engines must have a kill switch, which must be fitted, on the left side of the handlebar.

3. GEARBOX CLUTCH

3.1 The gearbox rations must not be changed with exception to the final drive sprocket.

3.2 The final drive engine sprocket and rear wheel sprocket are free in number of teeth and chain size. The chain size must be compatible with the sprockets fitted to the bike.

3.3 The number of clutch plates must not be changed. However the springs and friction material are free.

4. CHASSIS

4.1 The original chassis must not be altered in any way with the exception of the footrest mountings.

4.2 The footrests may be modified or changed.

4.3 Fitting of non-standard brackets and gear linkage system is permitted.

4.4 Passenger footrests must be removed.

4.5 Centre and side stands may be removed.

5. SUSPENSION

5.1 The original front forks may be internally modified.
The spring and seals are free as is the type and quantity of oil in the fork tubes.

5.2 Additional fork braces are permitted.

5.3 The clamping of the fork tubes is free provided it does not affect its function when it is fully compressed.

5.4 Rear shock absorbers and springs are free provided they are fitted to the original mounting points on the chassis.

6. HANDLEBARS

6.1 Handlebars are free provided they are fitted to the original mounting points.

6.2 Steering damper may be fitted.







7. BRAKES

7.1 Brake lining material is free.

7.2 Brake hoses and fluids are free.

7.3 Fitting of rear disc brake system to models with drum brake permitted

8. WHEEL & TYRES

8.1 Wheels are free provided they do not foul up against any parts in their rotating function and width is compatible with tyre size fitted.

8.2 Only road legal tyres are permitted.

9. LIGHTING

All form of lighting and horn may be removed from the Motorcycle.
10. FUEL

Only fuel from a pump station is considered legal for usage during the event.

11. COMPETITON NUMBERS

An area 1 in front and 1 on each side of the rear seat cowl must be made available for the
attachment of competition numbers. Size 180mm high by 180mm.
